Jagua Gel — 100 ml Refill Pouch

60,60 €

Why this gel?

~80 tattoos per pouch

80 medium designs (8–10 cm), up to 200 small ones, or 10 full-hand mehndi pieces. Enough for a whole summer or a busy event weekend.

60% cheaper per ml

£0.50/ml vs £1.30/ml for a single tube. If you know you'll use it, the maths speaks for itself.

In the skin, not on it

Genipin bonds with your skin. No film, no sticker. A blue-black result that properly looks like a real tattoo.

100% jagua fruit

Genipa americana, squalane, xanthan gum. Nothing else. No chemicals, no PPD.

The colour develops within 48 hours

When you rinse off the gel, the tattoo is light grey. This is normal. The genipin oxidises gradually. Within 24 to 48 hours, the deep blue-black colour appears.

Don't panic if it looks pale at first. That's how you know it's working.

How to use the gel — 5 steps

Dispense

Decant the gel into a cone, applicator bottle, or squeeze tube. Wear gloves — jagua stains properly fast.

Prep the skin

Clean with soap and water — no moisturiser, no oils. A gentle exfoliation beforehand helps the stain take properly.

Draw

Screw on the applicator tip and press gently. Go freehand or use a stencil — either works.

Let it dry

Leave on for 2 to 3 hours. The longer you leave it, the darker the result.

Rinse and wait

Warm water. The tattoo starts grey — full blue-black develops in 24–48 hours.

Everything you need to know

Genipa Americana Fruit Juice, Squalane, Xanthan Gum, Acacia Senegal Gum, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin.

All ingredients are naturally derived. Formula compliant with EU Cosmetics Regulation EC 1223/2009. Dermatologically tested. Made in Europe.

  • 1× resealable pouch of jagua gel (100 ml)

Note: This is a refill pouch — applicators, cones and tips are not included. You'll need a cone, squeeze bottle or applicator to transfer the gel before use. Already have one from our kits or tubes? You're all set.

Jagua gel is a fresh product. When it arrives:

  • Freezer (-18 °C): up to 2 years without loss of quality
  • Fridge: up to 3 months
  • Room temperature: 30 days maximum

You can freeze and thaw it as many times as you like. Take it out 30 minutes before you want to use it so it comes back to room temperature. Full storage guide →

  • Tracked delivery: 4 to 7 working days. Free on orders over £30. No customs charges — the price at checkout is the price you pay.
  • Returns: 14 days to change your mind. Product must be unopened (it's a fresh product).

Good to know: the gel is sent at room temperature. Pop it in the freezer when it arrives to keep it fresh.

The 100 ml pouch is for people who already know they love jagua and want to stock up: regular users who've moved on from tubes, henna artists adding jagua to their repertoire, or anyone running group sessions — parties, hen dos, workshops, team days.

Never used jagua before? Start with a 10 ml tube — it comes with an applicator and you can draw straight from it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Roughly 80 medium designs (8–10 cm), up to 200 small ones (3–5 cm), or about 10 full-hand mehndi pieces. It depends on line thickness and design complexity.

Yes — it's a refill pouch, so you'll need to decant the gel into a cone, squeeze bottle, or fine-tip applicator. If you've already got one from a kit or a 10 ml tube, it works with that. We also sell kits with applicators separately.

Absolutely. Freeze the whole pouch, or — better still — portion it into smaller pots or cones first and freeze those separately. Keeps for up to 2 years at −18 °C. Take it out 30 minutes before you need it.

Between 7 and 15 days, depending on where you put it, your skin type, and how you look after it. Arms and shoulders tend to last the longest. Learn more →

Yes — identical formula, identical INCI, identical results. The only difference is the packaging: a resealable pouch instead of a tube with integrated applicator.

Dermatologically tested and EU-certified (EC 1223/2009). No PPD, no synthetic dyes. If you've got a known allergy to tropical fruits (berries, kiwi, strawberries), do a patch test on a small area 48 hours before. Safety guide →
